Planning Engineer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables Develop comprehensive global timeline for the project Create and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software, considering factors such as equipment lead times, construction timelines, permitting, co-activity, commissioning activities… Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks that could impact the project timeline Identify and monitor critical path Propose solutions for timing optimization during the project realization Identify and resolve project roadblocks and bottlenecks, working closely with the project team to find solutions Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders on a regular basis, including providing recommendations for corrective actions Facilitate project meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making Prepare and communicate 3-weeks look ahead schedule Make sure all HSE policies are strictly taken into consideration in the time schedule Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports and lessons learned Provide guidance and support to project team members Ensure schedule reviews regularly with suppliers and contractors, challenge them, report and follow-up accordingly Develop specific time schedule for commissioning and start-up, including resource identification Coordinate with Operations for commissioning and start-up
